The author of paper towns name is John Green . this not his first novel either John has previous novels such as the fault in our stars but this book ranked at number 5 on the new York best seller list and also won both the Edgar award for the best young adult mystery in 2009 and the Corinne international book prize in 2010, which is one of the only English language book to win that year. John green made paper town an intriguing mystery when he made Margo Roth one of the main characters disappear leaving behind a trail of clues to lead Quentin (her secret lover) to make him think that he needs to come rescue her. which makes him and his friends take a long journey to her rescue.  John Green tends to right story's that pull people into a great story ling that is easy to get into in. and even if you don't like reading John green's novels usually gets turned into film. After reading or watching this film of this great story it makes you want to take a long trip with your friends.
